Can people who purchase now get a Steam key when that version is released?

No plans for a Steam release? I'd never have heard of this if I hadn't stumbled across the Switch version, itch.io doesn't provide much visibility. Then again, I guess Steam doesn't really either these days.

I think the main problem is that it seems like you primarily trained on photographs. If I put in a photo, or something like a movie poster, it does a reasonably good job; but with digital art the software fails to identify the correct subject more often than not.

The more I use it, the more this feels like it definitely has a long way to go. There's a bad habit of making random parts of the image semi-transparent despite them being high contrast relative to the background, and it doesn't do as good of a job removing exterior halos around objects as I'd like.

This is pretty impressive, there's still some artifacts in this image that I put into the demo - but it did do a better job of selecting the correct edges than either Photoshop or remove.bg.

Love the art direction, pure nostalgia for me. Really nice work! Threw you a couple bucks.

This is just delightful. Great concept, incredibly clever.

Cool project. Definitely some rough edges but it's quite fun, I like the way you can chain bounce off enemies through a lot of areas.

Thanks! :D

I'm an ESDF player so it's an for me as well. It would be great if you could get rebinds working. Swapping keys with PowerToys is definitely an option, but a suboptimal one.

Otherwise the game is pretty dang good, especially for something that started as a student project. I think the movement still needs tweaking but it's remarkably professional, fun, and has a great sense of style.

Somehow I ended up putting waaaay too much effort into rewriting the description of this for my Playnite library. Thought you might get a laugh out of it.

One day in 1989, John - a soldier fresh out of boot camp - was sent on a mission to a classified area at the government's request. He was terrified as this was his first field deployment, but knew the responsibilities that came with enlisting. A few hours later, John arrived on the island and helped his squad make camp.

The next morning, all seven other men were missing. Frantic, and unable to make radio contact with the mainland, John began to explore the area on foot. A small city stretched out in front of him, seemingly abandoned. As he looked around, he found the following blood-red scrawl dried onto the facade of a nearby building:

'The Thom family met a grisly end here, and their spirits still haunt this place. Twin sisters Jessi and Monica wander these halls. Their spirits are shy, and will attack if you look directly at them. Jessi follows relentlessly, while Monica waits in ambush. Their mother's ghost may be the most dangerous of all, a ball of pure fury and rage. I hope you'll be able to accomplish what I could not - unravel their murder so these spirits may finally rest. Be careful, and good luck!'

-John, 1999

Not knowing what to make of the message, he assumed it to be a prank. All the same, something in the air made his hair stand on end. This mission was strange, and it kept getting stranger. As he moved through the area, he had a sinking feeling this night's work would be far from routine. Little did he know how right he was...

But orders are orders, no backing out now. Solve the mystery and maybe you'll make it out alive.

Considering we've passed the initial cut off date, it would seem like a good time to set a deadline for late submissions. There are a bunch of people who are confused and looking to get in now, giving them more information would be productive. I hope they keep things fairly open, seems inevitable that a bunch of folks who missed this thread will want to donate their games after the bundle launches.
